Meet Aditya Kumtakar

My name is Aditya Kumtakar, and I’m the proud parent of Ved (2nd grade) and Adiya (former ATS student). As PTA Treasurer, the role centers on managing and tracking PTA’s finances, ensuring every dollar raised by volunteers is properly accounted for and spent as budgeted. Around 100 transactions are processed each year, with interactions involving numerous staff and parents. To make things more efficient, we now handle payments and paperwork online.
I truly appreciate ATS’s forward-thinking leadership and the dedication of its staff, who help create a wonderful environment for our students. Our diverse student body reflects Arlington and the USA. Traditions like the ABCs of Character, paper homework, and strong parent-teacher communication all help lay the foundation for our children’s future success.

Originally from India, I have called Arlington home for 18 years. I work as a Senior Investment Officer at the International Monetary Fund, and outside of work, I stay busy with my kids’ activities, cultural events, and volunteering in our community.
