SCA Representative Election

This week and next, classrooms (1st - 5th) are voting for their two class representatives, and 4th and 5th graders are also voting for their Officers. Votes are to be finalized by Friday, October 2nd. 

All representatives attend monthly meetings to help organize activities and projects that support our school and community. They share the ideas and information of the council with their classrooms and vice versa. They are led by the 4th and 5th grade Officers. Students may not run for representative if they served as a representative for their class last year.

Each 4th grade class officer will run for the position of Secretary, while 5th grade Officers run for President in a school-wide election held on October 16th. Parents of Officers will receive more information on campaigning rules on October 5th. Whether or not your student wins the election, they will serve as an SCA Officer for the 26-27 school year (5th graders as Vice Presidents; 4th graders as Treasurer, Operations Officer, and Public Relations Officer). Officers meet once a month with the full SCA as well as once a month for an Officers only meeting.
