Meet Melanie Mickelson-Graham

I'm Melanie Mickelson-Graham, mom to Griffin (4th), Lincoln (alumni, 6th), James (alumni 9th) and Rowan (alumni 11th). I've helped out as a room parent and on the PTA, and am currently organizing the 4th and 5th Grade Olympic Game Night music department fundraiser. I'm originally from Iowa (go Cyclones!), moved to DC to work in the Senate, and then worked on US-China policy in a variety of government positions. When I take time out, I like to practice jiu jitsu, play my flute, or laugh at fails with my kids.

Our family chose ATS for the diversity and strong academics, and truly appreciate the friendships and support we have in the staff and families.
