CALLING ALL 5TH GRADERS!

The ATS PTA would love to put your Reading Challenge inspired artwork on the cover of the 2025/2026 ATS yearbook and invite you to submit your artwork relating to this year’s theme of

“READERS ARE LEADERS”!

We do have a few rules:

1. Artwork must be original and created on an 8.5x11 piece of paper and have a vertical (tall) orientation.
   
2. “Readers are leaders” AND either Arlington Traditional School or ATS should be incorporated into your piece.
   
3. lease submit your drawing, painting, or other creative image either as a JPEG* or PNG* to the yearbook website at https://uploads.picabooyearbooks.com/10146610 upload at share photos, section: Cover Contest Submissions, OR in hard copy to the ATS front office.
   
4. Your name should NOT appear on your artwork. Please either name the digital file with your name or, if submitting a hard copy, include your name on the back of the paper.
   
5. All entries MUST be received by March 6, 2026 whether electronic via the website or delivered to the ATS front office.

Pro tips:

• Go bold with lots of color!! (including background). Minimize white space.
• Mix up your medium (consider using one or more of the following: markers, watercolors, oil pastels, collage, etc).
  
• Use the whole sheet of paper.

The winning artwork will be featured on the front cover of the yearbook, and the 2nd place piece winner will grace the back cover.
All original artwork submissions will be highlighted in the yearbook in the “cover contest submissions” section.
